The Turkey Pro Sez: "For those who like a bit of nostalgia in their turkey hunting, try a wingbone style call.  This carefully crafted three-piece call, by veteran call maker Fred Cox, is made from Canada goose wing bones.  It will produce authentic hen and gobbler yelps and clucks.  The largest bone of the call forms a larger sound chamber than a Two-Piece Call, which creates more volume and a deeper tone.  Hunters of the last century and native American Indians used wingbone calls almost exclusively to lure turkeys.  This model is a historically correct turkey call design, except with goose bones.  Wingbone calls can be a bit tricky to learn to use, but the secret is to "kiss" into the small end of the call and make a sound chamber with both hands on the large end.  Wingbones are a bit delicate, so be careful how you handle them. Try these goose bones to get your gobbler...the best news is that few hunters use wingbone style callers, so gobblers in your area are sure to respond to the new, sweet, mellow sounds produced by this call."
