Craig
Southard, from north-central
Pennsylvania with a real trophy boss tom. Bagged on opening day, the bird weighed 23
pounds, 12 ounces, had a 10 1/4" beard, with 1 1/4" spurs...a real boss.
He came to Craig's decoys with 4 jakes. Prior to bagging the gobbler, Craig watched
as he beat the tar out of the 4 jakes...it was quite a show. The young girl standing
by Craig is his 5-year-old daughter, who loves to scout with Dad and can run a mean box
call, accoring to Craig. A future turkey hunter for sure. |
